When we design a Web page; purpose, organization and style are considered. We begin by first identifying and clarifying your purpose.

The next step is to organize or map out your pages. We will design a home page (e.g., index.html) that is essentially an introduction to what is available at your site, then provide links to additional information about each topic on separate pages. 

There are obviously many ways to be artistic, and Web page designers tend to evolve their own styles. Our own preference is to use the KISS principle ("Keep It Short and Simple") by avoiding clutter and glitz.
